Travel Date Set!!

Yesterday morning we finally got our Travel Approval and our Consulate date was approved an hour later.  I quickly called the travel agent and figured out our plane tickets.  We will be leaving July 1 and will return the evening of July 15th.  I even managed to get two free tickets with our reward points (racked up from 5 plane tickets to China last summer….) despite the only two weeks in advance purchase.  It is REALLY nice to have an exact date finally!!!

Now, finish up my jobs, get the boys off to camps and back, make all arrangements for the boys while we are gone, set up the house/cat sitter with instructions and pack!!  And Ani finishes up with her last two weeks of the school year.   Perfect!

more refined estimated travel date

All wheels in motion preparing for a July 1 departure.  Except for buying plane tickets and making hotel reservations....  That cannot be done until we get official travel approval and a Consulate date.  Hopefully by the end of next week if not a bit earlier.  The only snag that could set us back is if we get our 4th or 5th choice of Consulate date requests, however that is not likely.

July 1 is coming up fast!!  Our neighbors had a wonderful "baby" shower for Neela and I last weekend.  It was a great way to feel the love of the beautiful block we live on!  Everybody is ready for Ani HanRui to come home!!
