Travel Schedule

We are down to the last week and a half before we leave. We are making good progress on our checklist of all the things we have to get done before we leave. Do we still get to go even if we don't finish all the items? I would imagine so, but I don't plan on testing the powers that be on this. Here is our iterary for the trip. China is 13 hours ahead of us, so what we are showing here will be things which will have already taken place when you wake up here on that day.

Wednesday (Oct 10th): Leave Mpls

Thursday: Arrival in Guangzhou, spend the night in hotel near airport

Friday: Take CZ3535 to Nanchang

Saturday: Sightseeing in Lushan

Sunday: Meet Neela

Monday: Register and pay donation.

Tuesday: Take notary & passport

Wednesday (Oct 17th): Sightseeing

Thursday: Receive notary

Friday: Receive passport

Saturday: Sightseeing

Sunday: Fly to Guangzhou

Monday: Visa picture & med check, fill out all forms, pay host + hotel fee

Tuesday: Interview at the Consulate by rep

Wednesday (Oct 24th): Bus to the consulate, take oath & receive visa, move in Airport Hotel

This is also a test of the email posting system. This is only a test. If this had been an actual blogger emergency, I'm not really sure what the protocol would be...

All for now,

Dave

LOL! Just a test you say? The font is on the small side, but I think I can manage- after all, I need get my "Finding Neela" fix somehow! :-)

Sounds like you will have plenty of opportunities to take pictures. That's wonderful! A word of advice- take as many pictures as humanly possible. I thought my 100/day was serious over kill. Now I scan through them and say, "What?! That's it?!"

Anyway, Happy October! This is *the* month! Thanks for sharing your itinerary.
