proverb

An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The red thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break. --Chinese proverb

Airplane trip from Shanghai to Guangzhou

Ani with Maggie our guide before heading to the airport. Ani just loves her new Hello Kitty watch, which makes sense given how much she likes to know the schedule for the day.  Ani loved to talk to Maggie from the back of the van as we were heading to the next thing.  This is where we learned about how she worries about many things.

Ani was nervous before take-off, but I was able to get an excited thumbs up from her!

Ani and Neela got matching necklaces from one of our neighbors, the small one for Ani says "little sister" and fits inside of the larger one for Neela that says "big sister".

Smooth flight with nice fluffy clouds. We were hoping to see the typhoon out our window, but didn't see anything that looked like that.

Ani with her sunglasses with flip up covers, enjoying her dinner on the plane.  She ate the beef with her rice even though she has said multiple times that she doesn't like meat.  We are finding out that she just doesn't like certain kinds of meat. Doesn't like vegetables either, but she does eat them on occasion. Had to watch her like a hawk so she didn't spill her drink during dinner.  She has trouble coordinating some of her movements due to her eyesight, and I was just waiting for her to whack her tray with her knee and send everything flying!!
