Spend this morning walking around the neighborhood we stayed last time when we adopted Neela. We are joined by another woman who adopted a 5 year blind girl.
Also stopped by the local medicine shop
Ani with our new guide Lee. Again lots of conversations about everything. She is very proud of her new family (which she is calling her "music family" since we all sing or play an instrument) and was telling Lee everything she knows. She also talked about some of the other kids from the orphanage with disabilities, Lee felt she was confused by their behavior and didn't understand why they would do the things they did. Sounds like we'll be talking more about this when we share a common language.
Many interesting forms of medicine. Lee said this was mostly used for maintaining good health, not for curing a disease.
